ALIEN ENCOUNTER SERIES

Alien Encounter Series, or contact between species, are stories about interactions between humans and alien life, or of any sentient extraterrestrial race's encounter with humans or with other aliens. Societies in alien encounter series are sometimes unaware of each other at first; and such contact is sometimes described by the more technologically developed society as a "discovery," with stories centered around the event and the impact of the encounter itself.
