The Boston Science Fiction Film Festival Celebrates 50 Years!
The Boston Science Fiction Film Festival is back and still kicking after 50 years! Having survived pandemics, snowpocalypses, technological upheaval, and brain-melting shifts in the moviegoing landscape, the annual event returns February 12–17 to the Somerville Theatre and other Davis Square locations. The country’s longest-running genre fest, Boston Sci-Fi will celebrate its milestone anniversary with five days of local and national premieres and visiting filmmakers, followed by It Came from the Orson Welles, a 24-hour marathon of favorite sci-fi features, plus contests and more, which kicks off at noon.
